Falcons Doorslammers
- Congrats Donte Jackson. Big time plays at big moments. Hopefully the first of many great games from him
- Boz was fucking great. Team MVP inside track
- The OL played with some fire late. A welcome change
- Pickens is gonna get HUGE $$$ somewhere else unfortunately. HOF type player.
- TJ Watt played well. One of the few truly impactful games in his career
- Najee Harris. Great game by him in a suspect offense
- The defense overall played well. Better than expected.
- Fields = lots of athletic talent and big play potential unfortunately countered by boneheaded and off target plays.
- Tomlin does not understand timeouts or basic point total strategy
The Steelers are 1-0 and in 1st place in the AFC North

Steelers 4 man pressure was dominant today. Made Cousins' dropbacks very uncomfortable.

Conservative and risk averse and then when you should take the 18-10 lead with a QB who couldn’t get clean snaps, he goes for it with a play that we have historically under Tomlin sucked at…it was really a lose your job offense in the NFL. He just lucked out.SteelerDayTrader wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 8:02 pm

He could care less about playing for perfection on Offense!

Watt was finally, for the first time in his career, impactful.

The math made no sense. And it wasn’t like if you succeed you are assured a TD. You take the points there every time.LakecrestSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 8:24 pmConservative and risk averse and then when you should take the 18-10 lead with a QB who couldn’t get clean snaps, he goes for it with a play that we have historically under Tomlin sucked at…it was really a lose your job offense in the NFL. One of the only impactful games of his career

I’d say that’s worthy of a Top 5 draft selection

Ok yeah needs to do more there but his blocking was excellent all game and for now that is his primary role.Steelperch wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 9:19 pmBut his 300 pound ass couldn’t break a tackle from a CB to get the first down.

Fraudulent got lucky again. Seems to be his forte. When I saw them line up I said, our coach is a fucking moron.zeke5123 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 9:24 pmThe math made no sense. I think he said in the post game presser that he believes in the bigs or something like that. Considering 2 of the anticipated top 5 were not on the field I have questions as to why.Thrillsseeker wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 11:37 pmFraudulent got lucky again. Seems to be his forte.
