Chargers long snapper is notorious for twitching and moving the ball before he snaps. Pointed it out to refs during our game and was told “he’s been doing it his whole career” it’s not gonna get called.

LMFAO

Maybe the chargers RT false starts his whole career so that's ok too!

The penalty on the first one was a shitty call. I had no problem with blocking the second one and being offsides. I think that could be seen as gamesmanship. Make the kid have different shit to think about other than just kicking it true since he had missed already. I see it as applying more pressure on the next attempt.

Joe Haden said he wasn't offsides on the first field goal attempt at the end. "When you get a good job on the ball, it looks like it’s offsides. Sometimes, they’ll just cal it. But it is what it is."

This. I watched the replay and I struggled to see the offsides. Calling that offsides after not calling multiple false starts by the Chargers, including a super obvious one that led to a TD?

Funny, that's exactly what I saw when they showed the replays. You could see him quickly snapping his wrist (rolling the ball) to one side a few inches, a second or so before he really snapped it. It was obvious why he did it.

Steve Mariucci just said on The Rich Eisen Show it was blatant and should have been called. Said defenses are taught to "go" on movement by the center's hands.

The angry emotional fan in me feels the NFL is gunning for an all-LA Super Bowl to make LA football relevant.

The more rational realist believes the quality of officiating simply blows.

Not picking on you, but asking an honest question. Would you have made this same statement if officiating had been good and we won by double digits? Because if the officiating HAD been good, we win by double digits.

The irony about the end of the game for me is that in the past 5 years we have had penalties called against our Center and our Long Snapper for 'simulating a snap', which is exactly what the Chargers long snapper was doing, repeatedly.

I am all for owning up to penalties as long as the refs are fair about calling it on both sides. It was way too one sided in this game.
