Go Chargers. Please
I dont trust the Redskins to beat the Titans or the Giants to beat the Colts.
At a minimum after this weekend Steelers have to be in a position of beat Bengals at home, your in.

What monumentally sucks is that Baltimore is now in a position to do what we should have done to the Chargers, beat them. If we just handle business when we had the chance, we wouldn't be even close to this position.
But yeah, I'm in total agreement...GO CHARGERS!!

Los Angeles has huge motivation- a shot at the #1 seed.

Hope Arnold can do his best Go Chargers chant
Chargers beating the Ravens would make things so much easier, hopefully they get it done.
I'm looking forward to watching that game.

All day long.
This kid sucks as a pocket passer, sucks as a QB. He's a fucking hb that can throw a football. For some reason, the NFL and media want him to be the next great thing, he sucks.
After watching the Chargers more lately, I think they may be the AFC team to beat this year. They have that 'going to the SB feel' about them. If they stay healthy, I think they well be our biggest obstacle.
I hope they put an ass whoopin' on the Ravens tomorrow night.

He certainly looks and sounds like he should be the face of a multi-billion dollar industry!

He's a gimmick QB. If the Chargers can't stop him, they don't deserve home field or that division.

Anyone that has watched some of the calls going the Chargers way can see the NFL wants them in the SB.

If the Steelers can't make it, I have no trouble with that. They've never won it, and I have always liked Phillip Rivers except when he's playing the Steelers.

All of this x1000
For some historical perspective, Jackson is averaging 17 carries/game. Here are the career highs of some famous scrambling QBs:
Fran Tarkenton - 11
Bobby Douglass - 19
Randall Cunningham - 14
Steve Young - 11
Mark Brunnell - 11
Kordell Stewart - 12
Michael Vick - 15
Vince Young - 12
Cam Newton - 17

How is Bizzard Thompson not on this list? He is one of the great of the greats.

Kordell Stewart has a better shot at the Hall of Fame than Lamar Jackson.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile...

Starting to think a Ravens win against SD eliminates us from the playoffs
Why?
Cause I really have a tough time seeing us winning in NO.
Even moreso if JuJu is out....and then the Ravens clinch vs Cleveland (I know, no gimme)
So yes, Go Chargers!

While we'll all certainly be rooting like hell for the Chargers, and will have a much more peaceful night with a Chargers win, I wouldn't count the Steelers out against the Saints. I'm believing in the Next Man Up....after last week, I have confidence in Washington, Eli & Switzer. We'll go 5-wide look, have Samuels as part of it. And....there's always Vance McDonald. JuJu's been awesome, but it's not like Steelers can't function without him. Plus....with all due respect to the physicians that populate this esteemed website, I'm not counting JuJu out of action either.
Also...Browns can def beat Baltimore....done it already this year.

Merry Christmas Dave to you and your family!
A win vs NO is possible of course
I just want a ticket to the dance anyway we can get it
I agree we can win in NO with or without JuJu...
Who is the 2nd most important player on this offense right now? JuJu? I think he has moved into the spot.
I'm much more confident with JuJu on the field than without him.

Ravens have just as much motivation, and might have league today as well. Chargers are a lock for playoffs, Ravens are running on everyone since QB change, at record pace. If Balt OL has freedom to grab & hold LJ's 15 -20 rushing attempts could be enough. Raven's are fighting for their playoff lives, knowing they can also hurt Pittsburgh. Harbaugh's off the hot seat, he'll have a good strategy going into LA. His D could slow Rivers. This will me a made for TV nail biter, maybe a late FG.

I'm going with Texans over Iggels for SBI, '77. Ain't no way Steelers get into #2 seed...don't see Texans losing both remaining games. And I think it's Playoff SBI to keep Patriots in #3 seed. I would feel alot better about Steelers eventually going to Houston than to Foxboro.

Indeed. If the Chargers win the #1 seed and the Steelers travel there, that place is going to be filled with Los Angelenos... wearing Steelers gear and waving Terrible Towels.
