Re: Duck Fucks the Browns

I like Snell a lot too. I wonder what damage Conner can do in the playoffs if is fully healthy and rested. May give us the offense we need to make a run. Duck looked much more relaxed than Mason... and to me, that's the biggest difference between them. Talent doesn't always win out.... it's why so m...

Re: Just to accentuate how bad our skill players and scheme

Here's why we lose and will continue to lose.... score: 0-0 3rd and 4 opening drive, and Ben throws a bomb to Johnny Holten.. A guy that was on the PRACTICE squad yesterday. Think about that for a moment, and then think about the past 8 years...and how many times you've seen that before. Another exa...

Re: 1.10 Devin Bush

Time will tell if he lives up to his top ten pic status, but I am glad we made the trade up and took a shot at addressing our most glaring need on D. If we stayed at 20, we would have likely picked the safety, Savage Jr... which I had read somewhere that we liked him a lot. And if we did that, I wou...

2019: hard knocks : Pittsburgh steelers

I believe playoff teams and teams with new coaching staff are exempt . Steelers will be eligible if we don’t make playoffs. Tomlin isnt getting fired .

Anyone want to argue the nfl won’t be jerking off to have steelers on this ?

Re: Whose No 2 QB?

its easy to sit back and blast Tomlin and Co for some of the decisions they've made that haven't worked out.. but hindsight is always 20/20.... They have made a lot of great decisions/picks recently and I'm excited for not only this year..but the years to come, too.

I'm happy about those three, too. Some players just seem to "stand out" during games... those three have. Some do not... Dupree.. I can't recall many who start off in that column and make it to the other. Jason Worilds...maybe... but I still contend that we dodged a bullet on that one.

i would have been fine with not signing him and letting him walk. But, if it is true and they do agree to terms... that's fine too. Tuitt signed his big deal last year... and what did he give us last year compared to Bell. (I understand he was hurt) If its 20 million guaranteed, that's two years.. i...

Parcell's[ had four qb requirements.... :He must be a senior, because you need time and maturity to develop into a good professional quarterback. He must be a graduate, because you want someone who takes his responsibilities seriously. He must be a three-year starter, because you need to make sure h...

What you guys are saying makes sense in regards to drafting a rb with our first pick.... but, he better be graded way higher on Steelers board than any ILB or S..... cause let's be realistic... It's been 4 months since Shaziers injury, and last week he was still in a wheelchair at Pitt's pro day. He...

You just can't predict heart. You can watch film, you can have them work out in shorts.. but they're all so schooled by agents what to say.. Hell, probably a lot of them have heart in college when they dominate 19, 20,21 yr olds... But when they have grown ass men like James Harrison wanting to kill...

Argue all you want .... the truth is . James Harrison was a better option this year than bud Dupree . Period... and he should have been played more. The fact that he wasn’t, and then was cut , makes me question Tomlin .... and I have always thought Tomlin was a very good coach. I now have my doubts.

I believe he dressed, did not play a snap.

Players are saying the right things about him....working hard... can see the talent...etc. that's all i've read.

I'm leaning toward an optimistic view of the trade at this point.

to me... wheaton reminds me of Emanuel Sanders... not so much in body type... Sanders is much skinnier.. You can see the talent.... but they never seem to make the play when the team needs it. I see Wheaton having a nice year... 50-70 catches... 5-6 td's ... then moves on. If it's the right situatio...

If Vince is the starter for the next three years.. I don't understand why we re keeping Timmons this year. I'd try and see what he'd bring in a trade.... use his 8 Million salary to sign some younger core guys. We certainly have the depth at ilb.

I'm also a big Tomlin fan... although I do see some of his weaknesses (as mentioned on this site), I think this tea...

Jarvis wasn't a project DE, he was an 3-4 outside llb in college. I think that's why our expectations were so high. He was supposed to come in and already know what the heck he was doing.

Denver's O-line is what Pittsburgh's was in 08... but maybe even worse. Tuit and Heyward should destroy them. Re: The Man, The Myth, The Legend...Big Fckin Ben

Roethlisberger said he should be OK for the game against the Broncos. Williams should have a chance to play. The entire team can thank Toussaint and Todman — and some bone-headed stupidity by the Bengals — for the opportunity.
